The Hanisch von Greifenthal family acquired an enormous prestige in Holy Roman Empire as eminent jurists and economists, despite their heroic history as brave soldiers during the religious wars. It is very interesting to understand their significance in the Habsburg court, noticing two doctoral thesis lectured by members of the family, which covers are remarkable engravings of holy scenes done by the most famous artists of their time. The opened book corresponds to the Kingdom’s annual expenditures report submitted by Johann Franz Hanisch Ritter von Hanisch, St. Wenceslaws knight, Guardian of the Bohemian Crown, Chamberlain of the Kingdom's Royal Treasure, to the supreme Imperial Court. The newspaper extract narrate the royal crowning ceremony of Leopold II, in September 6, 1796 as King of Bohemia, in which, Johann Hanisch von Greifenthal carried the St. Wenzeslau's Crown to be placed upon the emperor's head by the Bishop of Prague.
